Sony introduces its first screen "organic" foldable


Sony is about to unveil its latest innovation in terms of finesse: an electronic paper that can withstand a bend radius of 5 mm.

With such a concept, Sony seeks to recreate the sheet of paper is folded, crumpled and fits in a pocket. For now, his plan is flexible. With a diagonal of 13.3 inches, it displays a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Its thickness is also thinner with 120 micrometers measured.

In 2010, Sony introduced an OLED screen that can be wrapped around a pen. Pushing the limits, he further refines his idea has now reached the 5 mm radius of curvature
