Windows Market Place


Like Android (Market Place) and Nokia (Ovi Store), Windows has announced the arrival of Windows Market Place online browser. Alongside the presentation of Mango, a developer of Windows 7 Phone said on the Windows Team Blog that "users will be able to enjoy a new way to discover new applications and new games".  As the Smartphone version, the online Market Place will enjoy the entire catalog of applications via screenshots, detailed descriptions and choose the language for the application.


The purchase and installation of applications via the Web version of the Market Place should be as simple as on mobile. The flow will be on the same credit card that is linked to Windows Live ID. But the user may choose to pay with another credit card. This version of "browser" will save the download history, so that the holder of a Windows 7 Phone can quickly and easily reinstall all applications where new phone for example. Finally, parental control was announced, offering parents the opportunity to determine which applications can be installed by their children, or even block the paid applications.
