Apple wants to ban the Galaxy S3

The patent war is not over, here's further proof. Apple went to the court in San Jose, California, accusing the Samsung patent for the Galaxy S3. Demand for the Apple brand? The ban on the marketing of the latest smartphone from Korean manufacturer in the United States!

The Cupertino Company asked that the complaint be associated with that of the Galaxy Nexus, saying the two terminals were similar enough to be jointly addressed. Apple claims that the S3 would violate two of the four patents referred to in the complaint against the Nexus, the universal search for the links and "intelligent."

The failure of mediation in May

Samsung's answer was not long in coming: "We strongly disagree and will argue in court that the Galaxy S3 is innovative and unique," defends the Asian brand. Despite a meeting between Tim Cook and Choi Gee-sung last month about possible agreements on previous complaints for patent infringement, the hatchet is far from being buried between the two major players in the smartphone world.
