Facelift for Bing

A few weeks ago, a new version of Bing has been deployed in the United States. The search engine from Microsoft now offers its skin change in Europe. Exit the superfluous; the service focuses on the essentials. One senses the arrival of Windows 8, with an interface that adapts to the carefree touch media.

No major changes from the side of the home, which always features a large photo. The improvements are located at other levels. Page load was optimized, as the search algorithms.

Besides, according to Microsoft, Bing would become more relevant than Google, with a rate of 61.4% against 59.9%. Figures that were presented at the Worldwide Developers Conference, but whose methodology has not been disclosed. Information that remains to be confirmed.

More interestingly, those allergic to targeted advertising and other uses of personal data will be glad to know that Bing was in opposition to Google, appetite for this kind of practice. All this should help the search engine from Microsoft to glean valuable market share, Bing remaining minority for now strongly against its competitor.
