Blu-ray disc successor announced by Sony and Panasonic
In a brief press release, the Japanese company Sony and Panasonic announced their mutual cooperation in the development of a new optical memory. This is to make the existing capacity of a Blu-ray disc in the shade. Sony and Panasonic are working together on an optical memory with 300 GB of storage. For this, both of the companies have signed a contract that combines its experience in the development in the future. The capacity of the new-generation storage discs to at least 300 gigabytes (GB) in size and the end of 2015 on the market. Conventional Blu-ray discs store up to 50 GB is worth mention. They planning to find a new storage device which is more advanced and sophisticated are probably on good roads. Than this is a replacement for video or Blu-ray discs as a storage medium for high-resolution UHD Movies Instead, it could allow the professional long-term storage of data in companies. Other features of the new optical storage from Sony and Panasonic are not yet known. For UHD content, there are basically already a storage medium, the so-called BDXL disc. It can hold 100 GB of data, recordable blanks are to be had online from 25 €. However, there is no living room player for those discs, other than PC drives which cost above 70 Euros.

Android 4.3; Permissions Manager and 4K Video Support in the future
At its conference announcing the new Nexus 7, Google took the opportunity to start talking about Android 4.3 which will be delivered by default with the tablet. There will thus be entitled to new small profiles, support for the "Bluetooth Smart" OpenGL ES 3.0 and DRM for the use of applications like Netflix. With the latest versions of Android, we got right to manage multi-user account, Android 4.3 will go a little further with the arrival of restricted accounts. These may be limited in their actions and will not have access to all applications. Furthermore an example is given in the interaction with in-app purchases. Thus, a father who has bought three levels may prevent his son to buy another while allowing him to play. That should reassure a lot of parents and put some pressure on Apple and iOS is still lacking largely such opportunities. It was also given a demonstration of support Bluetooth Smart and OpenGL ES 3.0, which will be managed easily and can be used by developers. Other options worth mention is advanced support DRM, which is a prerequisite for having rights on the possibility of offering 1080p streaming content, as we have known already. This new capability will be exploited first by Netflix.

Slingatron, a device to hurl satellites into space!
HyperV Technologies has developed a spin with which it would fling satellites and other payloads into space in the future. For the construction of the next prototype, it seeks support through crowd funding. Slingatron is the device to be carried into orbit the small satellite with such an ancient slingshot. This should cost significantly less than to transport them with a rocket. The Slingatron is a spiral metal strip, which is mounted on a base. The base is placed in a circular movement. The satellite is set into the center of the spiral, the spiral moves through and thereby accelerated so much that he flies up into orbit. It is equipped with a small drive, the lights on the apex of the flight path and brings the satellite into its proper orbit. The spiral rotates 40 - to 60 times per second. The speed at which the payload is to be accelerated is depending on the diameter of the spiral. To propel a payload, such as a Cubesat in a low earth orbit that is in Low Earth Orbit (Leo), this must be accelerated to about 7.6 kilometers per second. According to a spiral HyperV Technologies this speed can be achieved with a diameter of 200 to 300 meters. So far, the company has been built two prototypes. Of about one meter wide second prototype manages to accelerate a heavy part just under 230 grams to 100 meters per second.
The next prototype will have a diameter of five meters and be able to throw a 450 gram heavy payload of velocity of a kilometer per second in the air. At this rate it can approximately fly 51 km to high. To build this device, HyperV Technologies has requested financial help of the Internet community: the company of Chantilly, Virginia has launched a crowd funding campaign on the platform Kickstarter. The company needs at least $ 250,000 so far100 supporters ready to sponsors. The Slingatrons could in future carry satellites, supplies such as water or fuel and components for space vehicles or stations into space. The payload could be several tons explained by HyperV. However, the world cannot replace spin space rockets, the company say. Because of the immense G-forces in the spiral, not all payloads are suitable for a start on the Slingatron including human.
iKnife Intelligent Scalpel detects cancer!
Always one of the most important and most daunting questions in cancer surgery is; Does the surgeon removes the tumor actually quite? Or maybe retarded but a few malignant cells? The iKnife is to eliminate these uncertainties quickly and correctly. The iKnife is an intelligent smart scalpel. During an operation in near real time, it determines whether the surgeon cuts in cancer or the normal tissue. The knife is a so-called electrocautery, - a standard tool of surgery that burns rather than cuts through tissue. "Since there is electro surgery to doctors complain about the smoke here," said Zoltan Takats from Imperial College London. Burned tissue is not only smelly, smoke also contains toxic substances. Modern appliances suck up the smoke. Zoltan Takats, who developed the iKnife responsible, recognized the unwelcome by-product of electro surgery diagnostic tool. "Our iKnife while also sucking the smoke but then we fish out our various ions and direct them into a mass spectrometer." There they are chemically treated. And feedback to the surgeon follows within seconds.
That beats the usual method of analysis of suspicious tissue during surgery. The traditional histology with microscope can take more than 20 minutes but this iKinife do it within seconds. In the mass spectrometer hundreds of molecules are tested for their tissue distribution. "We are particularly important substances of the cell envelope. For examples fats or phospholipids, "says Zoltan Takats. The totality of the molecules results in a pattern, as a signature. The interpretation left to the researcher’s pattern recognition software. At the end of this process, a pattern is derived from the tissue intended. How do they discriminate the chemical patterns of healthy and diseased tissue, should be known first. The researchers tested the iKnife in the laboratory on 1624 cancer and 1309 healthy tissue samples from a total of 302 patients. And then they dare tentatively into the operating room. In 91 operations the iKnife was used in parallel to the traditional histological methods for the tissues intended. The result is astonishing histology goes with iKnife quite astounding 100 percent. "We were very surprised," says Jeremy Nicholson, head of the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London. "When you reach 100 percent in some studies already?" He believes the identification of chemical patterns with the iKnife could be valuable far beyond the surgery also. "Perhaps the abnormal chemical signatures of smoke provide future targets for therapies. Because if you know how this biochemical change occurs, one might, however, can develop new drugs. " The first, sensational study of the team that developed the iKnife, turned Although procedures other to cancer, but the researchers have at least tested in the laboratory, such as the iKnife behaves in the tissue drying Berke other diseases. "We can distinguish the iKnife whether Crohn's disease or another inflammatory bowel disease is present," says Jeremy Nicholson.
These traditional methods often fail, and it can take weeks months until patients are diagnosed correctly. However, the chemical signature of the smoke is clear and unambiguous. "If we unravel faster diagnoses, the patient is doing well. And also comes cheaper the health care, "says Jeremy Nicholson. With this argument, the researchers also justify the high price of iKnifes. The prototype cost 300,000 Euros. The researchers are currently preparing clinical trials with thousands of patients.

Intel confirms the Haswell chip with 4.5W SDP
In the previous IDF San Francisco, Intel promised: Haswell will go down to 4.5 watts of SDP. While the first models announced earlier during the launch failed to reach such figures, but internal documents evoked such product have just been confirmed. Haswell (Core Processors fourth generation) will be of only a few watts! If the information seems to surprise some, it is not really surprising. Intel had indeed indicated that there is nearly a year that the chip goes beyond Ivy Bridge. The latter was to 7 watts of SDP for some particular models, and 10 watts to TDP. The Atom and his successors, they are limited to about 2 watts in terms of the products currently covered by the mark in terms of mobility. In June, we already learned that the purpose was reached already down to 6 watts for 2-in-1 and the Ultrabook, warning that he did not intend to stop there. And it's now official; there will also be versions of 4.5 watts only SDP that will emerge during the second half of 2013. And they will "build the first 2-in-1 passive based on Core architecture." It remains to know the price of this product and its performance. These will necessarily be limited, especially as the SDP wants a realistic indicator of power consumption under conditions of use. Hopefully accessible products may be right and it is not only for mini-luxury machines.
New Smartphone LG G2
LG released little more details about the new G2 and promotes the presentation of the new Smartphones on 7 August 2013. According to a teaser video of the phone released by its owner it was learnt. According to another teaser video available here LG released more details about its new Smartphone. In the 1:37 minute film is hard to see anything more about the Smartphone, instead the audience learns a few interesting facts about the people: as long as it crawls, how many friends he has or how often he dreams. At the very end, the silhouette of a Smartphone, then the message "- LG G2 Learning from You" - appears, including the invitation, on 7 August to see how the G2 learns from its users.
This suggests that LG has developed new software that recognizes the user and his typical behavior; it adjusts and adapts itself so that to simplify the usage of it. The rumors about the hardware equipment are 5.2-inch full-HD display and 800 Snapdragon processor - have now expanded to include a 13-megapixel camera, three gigabytes of RAM and an Adreno 330 graphics chip. LG makes an invitation to an event attracted attention in New York. A video also makes curious to 7th August 2013. A fairly clear indication of the performance of the LG G2 is the word "Great 2 Have You" - the G and the two are strikingly large. Not much is known yet about the new flagship. The alleged photos of the device surfaced on Twitter recently. Apparently those are stills from a promotional video. The Smartphone is named as G2 - the predecessor of it was called Optimus G. Inside the device might operate a 800 Snapdragon processor. Talking is also a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
Motorola Droid renews its range with three models
Combined with Verizon; Motorola this week unveiled the Droid Ultra Maxx and Mini. The first relies on the fineness of the design of its 5-inch display, while the Droid Maxx announced 48 hours of autonomy. The Droid is back with 3 new models, Motorola announced yesterday. First there is the Droid Ultra equipped with a 5-inch HD and a 10 megapixel sensor and displays a thickness of 7.2 millimeters. Then comes the Droid Maxx has the same 5-inch display, but that is all about self with supposed to provide 48 hours of battery power of 3500 mAh. The Droid Mini finally positioned on the waist with a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen. These Smartphones using a system on a chip X8 Mobile Computing System developed by Motorola. The SoC contains 8 cores with 4 dedicated graphics applications and is only used to manage the passive voice recognition system which is found in the Moto X also. This chip is based on the Qualcomm Krait architecture, but Motorola has not said by whom it is made. The three Smartphones will be available exclusively from Verizon from 20 August to $ 299 for the Droid Maxx, 199 dollars for the Droid Ultra and $ 99 for the Droid Mini with a two-year subscription. Windows 8.1 new patches available!
While Windows 8.1 will be officially released during the month of August, but in the mean time Microsoft continues to fix some bugs in the Public Preview. Thus, there are three patches that are currently deployed via Windows Update. They bring greater stability to SkyDrive and bug fixes for Internet Explorer 11 or the tethering function. The final version of Windows 8.1 is not expected until next month from Microsoft and certainly not before the fall in PC manufacturers meet. A Public Preview is available since the end of June and can give a good overview of the changes made by the Redmond over Windows 8, released last year. Still, the software giant is making adjustments in the Public Preview. A first one was made very recently, while three other patches are pushed for several hours. The first is to make it more stable SkyDrive storage service house online. The second patch seeks to solve a bug in Internet Explorer 11 when timer and VBScript code is used within a web page, according to specific scenarios. The third patch is meanwhile to improve the functioning of tethering, which made its debut with Windows 8.1, and that did not work as expected. As a reminder, it allows you to share an Internet connection if a 3G / 4G modem is present in the device.

Samsung unveils Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor
As expected, Samsung has unveiled its Exynos 5 Octa 5420. More than just a rise in frequency, it makes more changes in it. A new ARM Mali GPU which is a more efficient memory controller is loaded. Samsung has just announced its second Exynos 5 Octa, based again on the ARM architecture big. It latter allows for reminder to have in a single chip with two quad-core CPUs that are used depending on the needs: Cortex A7 one side to the low power consumption and a much more powerful Cortex A15. The current Exynos 5 Octa 5410, found in some versions of the Galaxy S4, is clocked at 1.2 GHz for the CPU Cortex-A7 Cortex-A15 while running up to 1.8 GHz. For the new version, the 5420, only the first 100 MHz wins. The Korean giant opportunity to change the dual channel memory controller which now supports the LPDDR3 @ 933 MHz, a theoretical bandwidth of 14.9 Gb/s. Another change which is not only limited with its GPU. In fact, Samsung comes with the ARM Mali T628, while the 5410 has a PowerVR SGX544MP3 solution. Anyway, this GPU is advertised as 10x more powerful in comparison with ARM Mali 400MP found on Exynos 4212 or 4412, but more than 2x the PowerVR chip used on the Exynos 5 Octa 5410. However, Samsung has, apparently, removed a pair of processing unit shaders compared to the reference design for a total of six instead of eight. It will be interesting to see what gives the final outcome. Supported the definition is identical to the previous generation, or 2560 x 1600 pixels. Added by the manufacturer against a MIC (Multiple Image Compression), supposed to offload some tasks normally intended for the GPU. Regarding the wireless display, it is supported up to a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Samsung says it demonstrates the performance of the beast at SIGGRAPH being held in Anaheim, while mass production will start from next month. There remains a question. Samsung; will it use this Exynos 5 Octa 5420 in his Note 3 should be announced at the upcoming IFA in Berlin in early September, and the brand will it do that again the Galaxy S4 and its many variants performance very different? With volume production so late, it's a safe bet that this should be the case again. Unless of course the manufacturer decided to rely on Qualcomm for their next Smartphone, it would be really amazing to have.
All about the new Google tablet New Nexus 7
Google invited media on 24 July to a press breakfast with Android chief Sundar Pichai and presented the new version of the tablet "Nexus 7" a the first device with Android 4.3. The new Nexus 7, as the name suggests, it is going to have a seven-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and 323 ppi (pixels per inch). The previous version had "only" 1280x800 pixels, which corresponds to 216 ppi. The hardware of the new Nexus comes the way from Asus. A Snapdragon S4 Pro processor (quad core) at 1.5 GHz from Qualcomm and two gigabytes (GB) of memory are installed in new Nexus 7. The new Nexus 7 is going to be the first device with Android 4.3. The case of the new Nexus is two millimeters thinner 50 grams lighter and equipped with a thinner edge than its predecessor. It can therefore easier to hold with one hand. The back again has a soft-touch finish, which went down well with the users as that of the old nexus, according to Google. For the crystal clear sound, Google has worked with the Fraunhofer Institute; the ultimate result is a virtual surround sound that comes at the request through headphones or the built-in speaker. Of the new Nexus 7 battery lasts up to 10 hours.
Google offered its new tablet PC two cameras; a rear five-megapixel resolution and a front-video cam with 1.2 megapixels. For fast data transport WLAN and Bluetooth are available - LTE there is unfortunately only in the United States. You can get the Nexus 7 with 16 or 32 GB of data storage and this option is available to your individual needs. A slot is available for an external memory card as well. Google fixed the price as 239 dollars for the 16 GB version and 269 dollars for the 32 GB model. The device comes in a few weeks in the market.
Google Chromecast: a key to Web Video on Your TV
Google introduced yesterday Chromecast, wireless key that plugs into the HDMI port of the TV and can relay the stream streaming broadcast from tablets, Smartphones, PC or Mac. It is marketed in the U.S. for 35 dollars now. Is there any Google algorithm New updates?
According discussions on the Webmaster World forum, Google could still try to make an update of its algorithm. It may be the extension of what Matt Cutts announced two weeks ago. Some website publishers have seen fluctuations in their positions last night and this morning. It is rather the American side, if you see something on your site in other countries too; then leaves a little comment below. In recent months, more and more publishers and websites complain vehemently Google’s method: updates of filters that will favor large companies and brands at the expense of smaller SMEs and blogs. This is probably the reality of 2013: it is clearly not in 2008 or 2010. To stand out, you must either be unique, or have a special budget. I now know what kind of comment every day on sites SEO U.S.: "The best thing to do is rely on search engines. Depend on Google; this is clearly suicide for any type of small business ".
Adobe Premiere Pro CC v7.0.1
A month after its release, Adobe has updated Premiere Pro CC with version 7.0.1. In addition to bug fixes, the main novelty of this version 7.0.1 is to facilitate collaboration by allowing users to Premiere Pro and Prelude. Adobe Anywhere tool is to organize and streamline the capture and adding videos with a subscription of 24 60 € / month. To work together by exchanging data via Adobe Anywhere for video service. Later, at the end of the year, After Effects users should also be able to use this service. Adobe's video applications can be used by the project, with only one user at a time. But Now Adobe Anywhere allows multiple users to share the same resources like file, audio and video files, and edited sequences, metadata files to clarify the information and make quick searches placed in a database. The data are not placed locally in the computer hard drives of the creative team working on the video project: they are stored in a server that can be found in by the company which may in another city or another continent.
The platform allows Adobe to share access to files and avoid conflicts when two users want to make changes had the same time on the same file and keep a history of changes. Adobe Anywhere platform is based on the Hub Anywhere Collaboration and the nodes using the Streaming Mercury Engine. This is supposed to allow the use of video files via internet in native resolution without loss of frames. It is no longer necessary to use low-resolution proxy. And we add the nodes, the more you can increase the workload and the number of users working together on a project. Mercury streaming algorithms should allow the transmission of real-time video streaming in, but it will require a decent connection to function properly. Specifically, Adobe Anywhere allows you to work on content placed on both local servers located at the other end of the planet with a computer that does not need to be a top model. When editing in Premiere Pro, the operations performed on movies such as positions, durations, blending mode etc are not calculated and performed locally in the user's computer.
Instead, Adobe Anywhere will do perform all editing operations and reports directly from the remote server project. Premiere Pro does therefore need to send the actions that the user has done on movies streamed he received from the server, and display the result of assembly operations and made it comes from provided in the form of a streamed video. In other words, the editing software Premiere Pro 7.0.1 CC is confident to perform all tasks requiring high working power to the server, a user can simply turn on a MacBook Air as simple as a machine. For cons, the server side as data storage, it will take a minimum of professional equipment that can be a hindrance for very small structures. Bandwidth usage and servers have to predict the risk of a bottleneck and it will take a few months to see if the choices of technology Adobe are effective. One may well ask whether the lack of After Effects at the moment in Adobe Anywhere solution is not much difficult to manage due to the time calculations made which are much more numerous and complex than After Effects Premiere Pro, as soon as a project has a large number of layers and effects in power hungry as those requested by plug-ins, for example, Trapcode Particular and 3D Element. Adobe does not specify how Adobe Anywhere manages a group of users which one would make from time to time of installation work offline on a project: a weekend spent in the countryside, without an internet connection, for example. When the user reconnects to the Adobe platform Anywhere with a different version of the timeline compared to that found on the server, which has been changed in the meantime by other users, what will happen? If there are conflicts between two versions of a project, because it has been modified off line, what happens? What "cut" will be a priority? Adobe will require there to be online constantly to be able to use Premiere Pro with Anywhere? Similarly, the complete dependence on remote servers, and the risks of illegal intrusions could also be considered as an Achilles heel for large structures that reliability and safety are the essential bases. A remote server accessible online makes the connection reliability and redundancy solutions backups backup server that houses the media and the Adobe Anywhere platform even more essential.
In a user working on a video project "old", each on his computer, in case of problems with one of them, only the data of the latter group are lost. But with Adobe collaborative solution, if the server and the Adobe platform Anywhere who are victims of an incident, all users in the group do not they may find themselves deprived of the project and media? It remains to be seen how promising the Adobe Anywhere platform keep its promises. If it does, this way of working much more collaborative would revolutionize the way many production companies and studios work. As Adobe said it would give less importance to the geographical proximity of members of the video project and the power of their computers and the artistic qualities of the team members, even if they live at the other end world.
Xee ³, an streamlined image viewer
Xee ³ is a direct competitor to preview the visualization software integrated with OS X. Though it is paid, this utility does not lack arguments against Apple's pictures tool. Trackpad users can easily move from one image to another in the same folder, which can be useful for reading a comic book, for example. In this regard, the software can extract photos from an archive to display without having to decompress the archive in question. Compatible with all picture formats, Xee ³ knows to display all the information that can be expected for each image and offers some thoughtful features, such as the export which allows you to select a folder already used up very quickly. For moving images, such as GIF or some famous WebP files, the software not only offers preview, view all images used in animation, he also plays the file in its interface.
According to its designer, this tool is better at resizing images on the fly and that more systematically exploits the graphics card to speed up operations. In addition to its many gestures, Xee ³ can also count on a flurry of keyboard shortcuts set as desired in its settings. Xee ³ is a new version of this utility which is quite old, after major update, a complete solution that pays for all users. If you want to find out, you can use the demo version available on the website of the publisher and even buy that version for the same price as the Mac App Store. The advantage of this version is not to be subject to the constraints of sandboxing and thus be more flexible, especially to see all pictures from any folder. To add that its previous version of the software is always available free here. It does not contain the new Xee ³ including printing.

A business can buy Internet leads from a company that deals with marketing. Products used by businesses vary from the policies of the providing marketing company. They also vary depending with the leads sold by these companies. These leads can be sold to many companies or returned to the system such that another firm can pick it. There are shred leads that are normally sold to multiple firms though the number of times a company buys is limited. This is because the more a business buys a lead, the more the quality degrades.
Most businesses rely on social data and that has contributed to its increase. Some common social sites that are being used by businesses include Face book, Google+ and Twitter among others. However, with changes in technology and policies, a company can only sell one lead to one business because shared leads do not work any more.
Using these leads comes with several benefits that help businesses boost their sales and save their time. Relying on this strategy is normally of beneficial to both the business and clients. This is because customers are able to get information about services and products from a business. That gives the business an opportunity to advertise and market products. Most businesses rely on the strategy to make their products known to a wide group of customers and target group.
Dealing with these generation firms reduces costs incurred by a business. It is the objective of any business owner to save on expenses and other costs. Therefore, that helps in growing a venture because it uses the saved money to invest in other projects. In order to help grow a venture, an owner should search for a reliable company that offers the service. A reliable company will help achieve such objectives.
Another benefit associated with the strategy is that it leads to industry exposure of a business venture. In order to expose a business, an owner must ensure that it has an official website. Utilizing the media is important for the success of any business. Exposure also comes from the company offering the service. This is because the company offering the service to a business might provide contacts of people interested in services and products it offers.
There are several other ways that a business could end up benefiting from this program. In order to improve the ranking of the site, an owner could work on increasing traffic. Therefore, suing this strategy is a good idea to increase sales for a business.

Heml.is, a anti-surveillance to counter the PRISM
One of the co-founders of The Pirate Bay has announced the arrival of an email application that would aim to avoid any type of communications surveillance. In response to PRISM, ultra secure Heml.is is a program for your phone. Revealed in June by Edward Snowden, the case of espionage of the population by the U.S. intelligence services (NSA) has provoked many reactions and some solutions appear to thwart the NSA. Supported by two acolytes (Leif Hogberg and Linus Olsson), Peter Sunde launches it’s Heml.is. A program that was then still waiting for government funding, collected in the space of two days more than 100 000. Heml.is ("secret" in Swedish) is a secure instant messaging that focuses on the protection of privacy with encryption. Heml.is is a free downloadable application; contain no advertising and in-apps purchases to unlock features. In terms of funding, the application takes advantage of remuneration on the integrated procurement system (ability to send images, files .etc).
The program interface clearly follows the design rules of iOS 7. This interface can be explained by the choice of Heml.is ambition, which is to compete with WhatsApp, iMessage and MessageMe by focusing on an important point: confidentiality. "Our goal is your privacy, as we build the entire software project in the structure of society to protect. Others are oriented towards profit maximization. We develop an application in which nobody can read your messages and we will close this service rather than being forced to let anyone enter, "it said in the FAQ. The application will be available on iOS and Android. The application is likely to be a success given the notoriety of The Pirate Bay and the debate on the PRISM continues to fuel fears of the population. What do you think of the birth of this new supposed to protect us from these monitoring communications made by governments application???
New Panasonic Lumix FZ72 bridge camera with 60 x zoom
Panasonic introduces the Lumix FZ72 claims to be a new record. No other bridge camera currently offers such a large zoom range. Panasonic Lumix FZ72 has the incredibly large focal length. The Panasonic Lumix FZ72 has a 60x zoom and that’s a record. Converted into small format extends the focal length of 20-1200 mm. You can still be doubled using the digital zoom and a tele-converter with a magnification factor of 1.7 could also be screws in front of the lens. With a focal length of 4,000 millimeters, for example, you can then, look at the moon in detail. An optical image stabilizer is although builds into the camera by the manufacturer, but also for the extremely wide focal lengths it is recommended to use a tripod because the framing may easily blurred. The software giant improved especially the navigation and the ability to discover new places. Only thing is the previous one; Latitude is no longer exists in the new version. Google provides the service but anyway from 9th August 2013 we hope. At the developer conference I / O Google unveiled several new features to Maps. The map service in the future not only looks different, it also gets new features. The search for a restaurant is about show the results immediately on the map. So far, they appeared in an additional column. Based on your Google+ circles or external evaluation services raises the map generates recommendations. Information about places and landmarks appear in info cards that visually oriented to Google Now. Previously, each user saw the same card. The new Google Maps provides individual cards for different users and needs. A small side road around the service appears only at a long zoom level. The road is important; however, to achieve a goal, Google highlights them. Moreover, the map adjusts to your need; with every vote or mark a favorite place Google Maps learns. WhatsApp paid service for iPhone users
After half a year of silence, the developers of the successful messaging service report back with some new features. WhatsApp henceforth also asks the iPhone users annually to the checkout. In one of her rare blog entries, the makers of the popular Smartphone Messenger sent this time exclusively to owners of Apple's iPhone. Thus proclaims that this group of users from now pays 0.99 Euros a year. In the first 365 days, however, the use of the app is free. The makers promise a simplified payment model. The same conditions also apply to users of the Android version. For existing customers will remain the same. In addition, access to WhatsApp has been improved for other developers. Third-party applications are so easy future access to the features of WhatsApp and can use them.
A Quick Guide to Keeping Your Windows 8 Computer Free From Spyware
You've just bought a new computer that runs Microsoft's new Windows 8 operating system. Everything's going great and smoothly: your new PC runs fast and doesn't overtly display any problems. Then, one day, all of that suddenly changes. Your PC is noticeably slower, and you abruptly notice that you have apparently installed some unwanted programs that you never remembered installing in the first place. What just happened? Simply, you were just victimized with some unwanted spyware intrusion on your computer. Here's how to keep your Windows 8 computer free from this scourge.
Use Some Anti-Spyware Software
The best and quickest remedy is the use of anti-spyware software. This is like using insecticide on bugs, only your problem is spyware on your computer. One of the more well known types of this software is Spybot. Spybot is cleaner software that removes extremely perilous spyware from your PC in a straightforward and easy manner. Another highly recommended software is Ad-aware, which also works to remove this scourge from your computer in a user-friendly way that's easy to get a handle on. When you're dealing with spyware, it's best to play it safe and not take chances.Make Sure All Your Updates Are Working
One of the easiest ways you can keep your new Windows 8 computer free from spyware is by making sure that you update Windows immediately. Simply head to your computer's control panel and go to the Windows security center. There, just activate the automatic download and installation for updates option. In addition, you should also active your Windows firewall. This is only a possibility, though, if the new computer that you purchased did not come with either a third-party firewall or security suite. Making sure that you regularly update can mean the difference between your PC staying free of annoying spyware and having to deal with removing spyware from your computer when it's already too late.Avoid Risky Internet Behavior In the First Place
You can really help yourself if you don't surf the Internet's riskiest websites in the first place. Some of the places that are known to distribute spyware and other unwanted things like viruses are those sites that possess explicit, illegal or illicit content. Examples would be porn sites and warez sites. Warez is basically free software. In other words, this is illegal because that "free" software is really pirated to begin with. So, if you exercise discipline and avoid these kinds of disreputable sites, you can do a lot to save yourself the trouble of being in a situation where you even have to think about removing spyware from your computer. This is really all that there is to making sure that you keep your Windows 8 computer free from spyware. It should be noted, though, that even the best anti-spyware software won't always catch all spyware on your computer. Thus, the best solution is to avoid risky Internet behavior, which involves abstaining from visiting disreputable sites full of spyware and viruses.Saturday, 20 July 2013
Telescopic contact lenses magnify objects 2.8 times
You will not believe your eyes! Binoculars and other telescopes will be forgotten in a few years. Instead, it could be that we all have the ability to use telescopic lenses and thus significantly improve your vision, up to 2.8 times more than normal! A team of researchers from the Agency for advanced research projects of American Defense (DARPA) has published a study proposing the production of a new type of lens. Better than contact lenses to replace corrective lenses, these lenses no larger than 1 .17 mm can magnify the view up to 2.8 times more than normal. Passing on the outer edges of the lens, the light will "bounce" on a series of microscopic aluminum mirrors before being sent to the back of the retina, where the natural eye sensors receive the image to send to the brain. Tunnel vision may be possible by combining the use of such lenses of the 3D glasses to change the bias to the center of the lenses. These lenses are mainly thought to be used by older people whose eyesight fades quickly. If they seem very promising, they are still a bit far from ready. It should also address some issues such as image quality and especially the choice of materials that, under certain conditions, are not compatible with wearing over long periods. In any case, it makes us eager to see how these lenses can improve our vision and allow us to see beyond our eyes not currently allow. Have a view rivaling that of a raptor, a lynx or even Superman, it would be great!
Samsung unveils 20-megapixel WB110 bridge camera
Samsung's new bridge camera WB110 has a large zoom range and with an optical image stabilizer - for videos, it is sufficient. Samsung WB110: The bridge camera has a 26x zoom and optical image stabilizer. The lens Samsung WB110 features a 26x zoom. Converted into small format extends the focal length of 22.3 to 579.8 millimeters. These dimensions of the built optical image stabilizer are very important because such large focal lengths, no one can hold it in hand without aids such as a stand without shaking. Without stabilizer, the image section will always be in motion slightly. Samsung designed the WB110 from a CCD sensor to its size but the manufacturer makes no details yet. As information for now remains only the resolution of 20.2 megapixels. This would easily be enough for full HD video, but nevertheless, the Koreans have decided that the bridge camera captures only video in HD resolution. The screen on the back of the WB110 is three inches tall, and automatically adjusts its brightness to the lighting conditions of the environment. The light sensitivity of the camera ranges from ISO 80 to ISO 3200. In addition to "smart" recording programs, the bridge camera also holds a Live Panorama function. Samsung plans to release WB110 from July 2013 in market in two colours namely black and red. The suggested retail price is 229 Euros.
Oracle launches 89 patches
On the occasion of its Critical Patch Update, the editor corrects mass, including pourFusion, MySQL and Solaris. As usual, Oracle does not do things by half during its quarterly security. This time, it is not less than 89 patches that are available to address a multitude of flaws in its various products. Nearly half of these patches are considered critical, they fix vulnerabilities that can allow a takeover by a remote attacker. Oracle therefore recommends immediate updates. MySQL products particularly Solaris operating system are particularly spoiled with 33 patches. For the first, the most critical vulnerabilities affect the XML parser and the Outside In particular component used by Microsoft Exchange Server. For the second, they patched the holes in the TCP / IP and iSCSI protocol management. They also retain 21 patches (including 16 critical) for Fusion Middleware. Oracle Enterprise Manager Database families, Hyperion, E-Business and PeopleSoft are also concerned. Recall that the editor said earlier this year that the updates for Java will now be monthly from October. Meanwhile, the general public must now juggle; updates are available almost daily to protect their Web browsers zero-day vulnerabilities.

H.625 a next generation video compression solution
Very high resolutions videos (4K, 8K ...) are on the horizon, the current compression solutions no longer meet the requirements in near future. One of the most commonly used, the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding), if it remains effective with Full HD 1080p, but it is not fully capable and fast enough to decode 4k videos. Earlier this year, the characteristics of a new standard for video encoding have been ratified by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It is called MPEG-2 or H part H.265/HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) codec is intended to provide a comparable image quality H.264, with a reduced rate by half.
There are two ways to decode a video stream 4K Ultra HD; they are through a software-only solution or use a DSP (Digital Signal Processor or math coprocessor) specialized, often the GPU (Graphic Processing Unit), which will charge thousands of calculations to do. The hardware solution is the most efficient and faster. But it is more difficult to integrate into a mobile platform as an iPad or iPhone, because it will consume resources, including power and generate more heat. The 800 CPU Snapdragon Qualcomm recently introduced one of the most advanced solutions for H.265 video decoding. But none of this component based Smartphone is still available. Sony has announced a Smartphone that uses it, but the Xperia Z Full HD Ultra will be available in September. Rumor has it that Samsung sells soon a Snapdragon S4 Galaxy 800's version, but it is not known when it will be released out. Another competitor announced as Smartphone that can play H.265 videos, a model with a ZTE Tegra 4. He seems to have been delayed because announced for the first half of 2013, it is still not available. The only currently available and mobile terminal using the NVIDIA Tegra 4 is a "Tablet" REGZA Tablet AT703 by Toshiba has released in Japan. Unfortunately, the Japanese manufacturer seems to have passed on the H.265 video because it is not equipped with a HEVC/H.265 player.
One may wonder whether this is due to the relative lack of current or H.265 encoded videos in the case of concerns about the battery life. The software solutions side, many companies are currently working on projects or Player SDK (software development kit) allows developers to use the display H.265 video in their applications. But it is currently mainly available as beta, (i.e.) programs not yet finalized and available. IPhone / iPad especially, many companies around the world are working on solutions. Elecard Russian, for example, developed an SDK for different operating systems (iOS / Android / Windows Phone etc) that allow an ARM processor based mobile devices to play videos H.265/HEVC. German Rovi also announced Main Concept SDK HEVC for several OS including Linux, iOS, and Android. At IBC 2012, demos of the SDK were presented. In China, Strongene developing in partnership with Beijing University HEVC/H.265 a solution called xHEVC. A demo of a client for iPhone and iPad is available for download. And in Japan, NTT DoCoMo announced that its technology to disband read HEVC/H.265 videos.
The first really usable solutions will be created before the end of this year. All major companies are working on projects (encoders or decoders, player, system for H.265 video playback software layers etc) companies that develop operating systems (Google, Microsoft ...) first, and specialists in compression, as the French ATEME that sell solutions encoding or decoding video streams to many TV channels and professional dissemination of content on the Net. Apple's side, the engineers are working on video codecs for QuickTime, which will be built into the operating system. Will it be provided to all codecs owners of Mac OS X, or will he buy as additional codecs, as time QuickTime Pro? This will depend on how Apple sees H.265. If California is seen as a successor to H.264, i.e. as a mainstream solution that will gradually replace the majority of the H.264 encoded video on the Net, there is a good chance it is proposed free of charge to all users of Mac OS X. For iOS devices, a software solution would drive to recent iPad and iPhone (because they have a powerful CPU to decode H.265 format) can play H.265 videos with a simple system update. Apple will probably end up offering iPhone and iPad with a hardware solution to encode and decode this format with more performance than a software solution. The D5500 with the PowerVR presented there might just be a welcome applicant. This GPU decoding HEVC/H.265 videos and manages 4K. No mobile phone manufacturer has not yet announced its use so for. It will be remembered, in fact, Apple has established close relations with the British VideoLogic / Imagination, using its chips for many models of its products since the days of the Apple II GS graphics solutions up to its iPhone and iPad. In addition, Apple is one of the investors VideoLogic / Imagination, who in recent years increased its purchases of action to have almost 10% of the company.

Google X, a Secret Lab!
Google; the Mountain View giant just not only develops computer and internet solutions. In the shadow, future applications, future energy, future vehicles, artificial intelligence and future technologies etc are studied by laboratory Google X. But recently their secret projects are suddenly revealed to the public. It is very strange but Google seems to play the card of full transparency on its development division.. Google X lab was Founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 2010, this complex base is in Mountain View aims to develop the technologies of tomorrow and today we need to recognize that little was known about it until now. As odd as it may seem this department supposedly secret now finds itself in full light. This information were disclosed by some online sources, which tells more that the Mountain View giant has big and does not exclude any project if it is futuristic. Its latest acquisition in progress is also Makani Power. A startup that develops wind turbines mounted on drones and connected to the ground like kites. Eric Teller, the current director of Google X Lab, hopes the takeover lead to pioneering technology. As Larry Page said during the last conference Google I / O, Google develops IT solutions, but her current work allow it to connect with the real world. Regarding the acquisition of Makani Power no amount has been disclosed at this time, but in terms of the development possibilities are endless. "We look forward to working with our new colleagues at Google X for the turbine airborne something profitable," says Makani Power on its website. This may sound crazy, but "if you do not take your chance, no progress is made" believes Damon Vander Lind, chief engineer of the project. Such work on wind energy in the future could compete with fossil fuels, and especially to be a huge commercial success for Google. A niche where we do not necessarily expected. Constantly looking to the future, the main objective of Google is the same as its competitors in advance. How and in what direction? Nobody really knows, but the company's claim to want to save the future world; From all future problem of humanity, “we will find a solution and we will correct it," said the director of Google X Lab. Business Week says that since its inception, the lab seeks to impose itself as the heir of classical centers such as Bletchley Park, to whom we owe the modern cryptography, or the Manhattan Project, which created the first atomic bomb.
Today, companies withdraw from the research and prefer to turn to the side of innovation startups. By revealing its secret projects, Google seems to play cards on the table and show that it takes advantage of the situation to try to help. But then, the space elevator, teleportation ... It's the public fantasize and it stops there. Suddenly raise the veil on its secret department does not hide the fact that the company operates like any other. The purchase of small businesses is the best way to integrate new skills to innovate and expand its market by diversifying. For example Android, one of the biggest successes of Google, which were already existed at the time of the creation of Google X. The mobile OS is not born from a brainstorming session in Mountain View. Many people forget. This mobile operating now present on 75% of Smartphones worldwide system was originally developed by a startup acquired in 2005. Not sure today the acquisition of high-tech kites Makani Power works as well. Designed by Google and straight out of the X Lab, there is also the Google Glass. According to optimistic forecasts Business Insider Intelligence, 21 million pairs could be sold annually by 2018. If the price is around $ 500, this would be a market for Google to $ 10.5 billion over the next five years. But this is debatable. Currently, the geeks only seem to be really ready to wear. Such success will obviously depend on the interest of developers and especially the social integration of the product. Constantly be equipped with a camera that is not to the liking of everyone. Besides increased, signed a future innovations could be the reality namely Google Car.
Testing vehicles already circulating throughout the United States and Director of Special Projects, Sergey Brin, has predicted that the unmanned autonomous cars will be on the market by 2017. "The world is no longer limited by IQ We are all limited by the bravery and creativity," said Eric Teller at a conference South by Southwest festival in Austin. A month ago, Eric Schmidt has surprised many by announcing that "by the end of the decade, everyone on Earth is connected to the Internet." Knowing that today 40% of the planet is connected to the Internet, the task seems very odd, but it may possible and Google has the skill to do it. To solve this problem, Google X Lab proposes to set up broadband transmitters on balloons sent at high altitude. Will keep for some time to head in the clouds. Seriously, all this comes at a cost! Who said research tells resources, and Google will give here a cold sweat to its investors. Mountain View can certainly afford such follies. For now, Google continues this and wants to show they like risk. Eric Teller believes that Google X Lab should not be judged solely on its financial performance, but also on the progress it brings. "We're still in our adolescence," he says. According to him, the research center will study two or three new projects per year. Google somehow becomes the Microsoft of the 2010s. With futuristic innovations in everything goes, the public will quickly dream. But in the real world, the more difficult will obviously sell these inventions and especially to get to the sale. While at Google X Lab are the open side research and development, it is much more difficult to obtain information on the work of Apple Technologies division led by Bob Mansfield. The iWatch is obviously one of great expectations, but Apple seems otherwise master its internal circuitry. Two modes of management opposed. On one side the transparency of Google, where one of the founders directs all, manages records and left a colleague freely invent the future. The other, a more decentralized method work and much less exposed. Apple is more discreet coordinating its research around small teams to think about the future of computing. Beyond imagination, Google remains to be seen which of the two techniques will be most productive.

Google Maps available for the first time on Android tablets and the iPad !
The major update of Google Maps comes with another novelty, since for the first time, the mapping application is available in a version for Android tablets and the iPad. In announcing a new version of Google Maps for Android and iOS, the U.S. giant has also filled a long history with the introduction of specific versions for tablets. It is already available for Android models and will soon available to the iPad. Google says that all the new features of the update for Maps are available in the edition for tablets. So the menu, a more fluid navigation, the ability to discover useful places (restaurants, shops, hotels) in terms of its geographical position as well as more detailed information on the real-time traffic information, and the ability to reroute if a better route appears along the way. Another important change for Maps is removal from service on August 9 Latitude to share its location with other users. This function is replaced by something equivalent in Google+ for Android and will "soon" available in the iOS version.
Acer Iconia A1
IPS display, quad-core processor, twelve gigabytes of storage, newest Android 4.2.2 Acer Iconia A1 increases its buyers from the much more expensive iPad mini targeted users. Cheap tablets PCs, there are many, but none is really cheap. Either the processing is miserable or the manufacturer or some massive savings on the equipment. With the 7.9-inch Tablet Acer Iconia A1 opened now step for a price war: the brand manufacturer estimated for only 189 Euros. That's a whopping 140 Euros less than Apple’s cheapest iPad Mini version. Compared to the iPad, the Acer mini looks much bulkier. This is due to the height: 7.2 millimeters instead it brings the A1 to a whopping 11.1 millimeters. Moreover, it is clear with 398 grams heavier than the iPad (308 grams). And the low selling price you see at first glance: The touch screen is not made of a fine glass cover, but plastic - a strong hint when starting an app. In addition, the on-screen keys for entering texts are somewhat small. However, the touch screen responds very accurately and quickly to inputs. With its quad-core processor, the A1 works very fast. But this is also the latest android version 4.2.2 due: This operation works fast and smooth. For video calls, the A1 has a front camera, but resolves only with 640x480 pixels. The rear five-megapixel lens on the other hand, takes pretty decent photos and videos. The Acer shines on the paper with fantastic data: It tinkers with a quad-core processor; a 7.9-inch screen has twelve gigabytes of memory and the newest version of Android 4.2.2 on board. The 20.1-centimeter display offers 1024x768 pixels - which is exactly the same resolution as the iPad. The screen quality is still not moving to Apple Level: movies and photos are the A1 with some lackluster colors again; texts of books will appear slightly blurred. The speakers sound very good, but due to the design, music lovers can expect a feast for the ears. This is also true for the Apple tablet. The Acer offers like the iPad for apps, photos and videos twelve gigabytes of free storage. Thanks memory card reader allows expanding via microSD card up to 32 gigabytes (costs about 20 Euros). This option does not offer the iPad. No question, the handy tablet is indeed well made, but cannot deny the manufacturer cutbacks. Nevertheless, it is an inexpensive alternative to the expensive Apple device: Whether as message center for Facebook, or as a surf machine, navigation system or as an eBook reader - the Iconia A1 dominates everything a tablet can have. Nevertheless, Acer may have to manipulate so that the operating system works correctly with the hardware.

Drive Your Car with Your Smartphone!
CyanogenMod; A Privacy Guard Manager Arrives!
The CyanogenMod team has to make some changes in the management of its incognito mode which now takes the name Privacy Guard Manager and takes place in the Android Settings section. In addition, the team provides some information relating to succession of updates to the stable release for the Galaxy SIII. But there is also talk of a new site for downloading alternative firmware. While some mobile devices have alternative firmware CyanogenMod stamped 10.1 and based on Android 4.2, the development team did not stop there and offers new features on the new versions. As a reminder, these are open-air laboratory and are updated daily to remove bugs, feature has been added. A Galaxy SIII has the right to multiple updates. The team gives some details about the users of Galaxy SIII (U.S. version) and saw appear several updates to the stable release without special explanation. Nokia Lumia 1020 with 41 megapixels!
In 2012, the Nokia 808 Pure View with 41 megapixel camera was released, gain in July 2013, Nokia Lumia the successor of its pixel monster with Windows Phone 8. In the first glance the Nokia Lumina 1020 looks like regular model of Lumia phones. According to the blog reports, the Lumia 1020 comes with two gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal memory. The blog ViziLeaks already shows photos of the alleged internal supposed "Elvis" equipment mentioned in circulation. In the market it will be named as Lumia 1000 Eos or Lumia Smartphone as 1020. As the test of its predecessor Nokia 808 Pure View shows the main advantage of the sharper sensor is not necessarily in the ability to store photos in huge resolution. It's more about the optimization of image quality: This creates better at the end of eight or five-megapixel photos than a normal camera sensor. Unique to mobile phone cameras is the ability to zoom in quasi photos and videos at Pure View mode. The 41-megapixel technology Nokia has called Pure View 1 technology. For Lumia 920 and Lumia 925, however, the Pure View-2 technique was used: the higher image sharpness alone does not, however, provide through an optical image stabilizer for shake-poor video footage and high-intensity shooting in dull lighting or without flash. Exciting - but technically not that easy - would be the combination of both technologies: How would shoot in low light or low steady video possible as well as photos with impressive image quality. If Nokia manages to square this circle is on 11 Show in July.
According to the Windows Phone Central 1020 is equipped with 720p OLED display. Just like the Lumia 920 will be surrounded by a shell of polycarbonate, The Nokia 1020, Compared to Lumia 920 is one millimeter thinner - but it has a large recess for the camera. Nevertheless, it is much thicker than other Smartphones, especially as the sleek Lumia 925. With the 41-megapixel Nokia technique demonstrated its expertise in mobile phone cameras – then their competitors cannot match. If Nokia is able to combine the technique of photo 808 View Pure and Lumia 925, Nokia's new friends would find many pixels monster.
