HTC Nexus 9 Tablet to prove as a Tough Competitor

HTC Nexus 9 Tablet
While the Chinese Telecomm companies are making intense rapid progress by designing their smartphones with meticulous features which are available in the market at an extremely affordable price, it has become a challenge for telecomm companies Samsung, HTC to remain in the competition. To keep in pace with the competition, HTC reports revealed that they are going to launch Google Nexus 9 tablet powered by Tegra K1 64-bit processor in the third quarter of 2014. This has ushered frenzy among the mobile manufacturers who are looking forward for the launch of the device.

Reason for making such a comeback:

HTC took the challenge to develop such a device mainly because to gain worldwide acclamation as a leading smartphones manufacturers. In 2012, HTC manufactured HTC Flyer, which failed to dominate the market and attract audience’s attention. So they’ve high hopes for unveiling Nexus 9 tablet. Previously, HTC rejected Google’s offer for collaboration to manufacture tablets because they claimed to have been busy in promoting their smartphone business globally, which later did not reward much fruitful success.

However, rumors states that Nexus 9 will not be available in US, owing to the ill-fated failure of the previous tablet HTC Flyer in 2012. The Wall Street Journal claims that HTC is working collaboratively with Googleplex in Mountain View upon Nexus 9, which will be soon unveiled to the citizens.

Leaked News about the Specification of the Tablet:

There might be several rumors about the Nexus 9, but certain features have been confirmed to be present in the device. One of the speculative killer features that have been incorporated in the device is the 64-bit NVIDIATegra K1 Denver processor, which has been predicted to be highly superior to the Snapdrgaon processor present in the existing android devices.

In addition to that, sources reveal that the device will run on 3GB RAM, contrary to 4GB RAM which exists in most of the devices. In addition, the device is assumed to sport an8.9 inch AMOLED display, with a 2048x1440 pixel density with 241ppi. The device will have aluminum rear with a thickness of .31mm and will weigh 418gm. The aluminum rear is assumed to provide a better protection for the device from shocks and slight scratches. In addition, the device will sport with 8MP rear camera and 3MP front facing camera. Unfortunately, there has been no news about the presence of LED flash. The tablet will be powered by 4900mAh lithium battery, and will run on the latest Android 5.0 L (Lollipop, Lemon Cheesecake) which will enhance its performance. The device will be available in 16GB and 32GB variant without any external expansion slot.

The price has been expected to be around $399  and $499 respectively while the LTE version is expected to cost around $600.

Conclusion:

Android technology has skyrocketed in the recent years and has been running a wide array of devices ever since it is advent in the market. With its breathe taking features, market analysts envisage HTC’s comeback in the smartphone market in the distant future.
