The first implantation of a jaw printed in 3D

A team of Dutch surgeons implanted a patient to an artificial jaw for the first time printed in 3D. The process would reduce hospitalization time and costs.

Four steps were needed to researchers at the University of Hasselt to design the model. After a scan of the jaw of the patient, a detailed model is realized on computer.

Super Bowl: more than 12 million reviews online


Every year the Super Bowl is the sporting event of superlatives. In addition to the 111.3 million viewers, were counted for the latest issue of 12.2 million comments on social media.

High-Tech Touch Guitar


The German design studio Formquadrat completed a project to touch the guitar. The project is called "A Touch Sensitive Guitar." This consists of designing a high-tech touch guitar. If substantially all of the concepts of guitars use a touch screen multitouch, "A Touch Sensitive Guitar" has sensors in plastic sensitive to touch. 

Just the guitarist to handle these "platforms" like the strings of an ordinary guitar. The instrument has Touchskin ® technology.

Facebook keeps your deleted photos


We know Facebook not quite comfortable with the issues of data security and above all on respect for personal data. The social network seems to encounter a new problem raised by the site ArsTechnica. 

The source said some of the photos deleted by users of the service are always available for almost three years after their supposed removal.

NASA explores the limits of the solar system


Interstellar Probe Boudary Explorer (IBEX) of NASA, recently reported new information on the interstellar medium, which lies beyond our solar system. This information could complement those already received by Voyager 1, which travels through space for 34 years and is about to leave our solar system.

The findings of this probe show that the composition of atoms in the interstellar medium is different from the solar system. According to NASA, this means that oxygen would be much more present at any location in the solar system than in the stellar environment.
